Yet more projects

Lately, I've had a couple people ask me to embroider aprons for Christmas gifts. So, here are 2 aprons I've done and another pillow case.

$8 plus cost of apron.
Travel pillow case w/ embroidery $15, $18 if I buy pillow too.
A little hard to see in picture, but a really cute apron.

Christmas ideas!

Matt's sister gave me the idea of doing a potholder set. It's hard to find potholders that don't have a pocket on them though, so I am pretty limited on colors.

I gave these to Michelle for watching Ciara this past weekend while Matt and I were at a convention. They look great with her black and tan granite counter tops!

Price dependent on cost of potholder and towel, as well as number of pieces.
I know it's hard to tell what this is in the picture...

Ponytail holder $4.00
Ponytail streamers $3.00

I am also working on some pillow cases, among other projects, so be sure to check back often!

Christmas is in the air you know!

Christmas Mini Mania !!

As part of last weekend's Bow Mania, I also made a lot of smaller Christmas bows too!

It's hard to see in the picture, but these 2 are made of ribbow with the opposite color stitching.

These are $3.00 each and would be super cute in pigtails (I'd use 2 of the same color though).
These are small bows (~3" across made of 5/8" gross grain ribbon)....$3.00 each.
They'd be cute stacked in the center of a larger bow you may already have or that I could make for you.
Also a ~3"...$3.00
Also ~3"...$3.00.
I will be putting this on top of a medium sized black bow to go with a Christmas dress Ciara has!
Any of these can be interchanged with the centers of the larger bows you see in the previous post. Just let me know which color combo you like!!

Christmas Mania !!

Last weekend was Bow Mania at our house! I don't even know how many bows I made! They were mostly Christmas bows that will be on display at the shop where I get my hair cut...Leanna's Hair and Tanning in Poseyville, but I can sell any of them to anyone interested, or make more!

In this post, all the bows are large bows that measure about 4" or more!

This is 2 separate bows put together which gives you more flexibility since they can be worn together (as seen below) or unclip the small bow to wear separately!

Large bow, w/ separate center bow $8.50.
Large only is $6.00.
Small only is $3.00.
I can also do this in a medium size for $7.50.
Same thing, but colors are reversed.
Large red bow (or green) $6.00 (seen here)
Medium $5.00
Christmas polka dots. Large $6.00, medium $5.00.

New, Fun Bows!

I found this ribbon and fell in love with it! Plus, it matches a new dress Ciara has for winter!

Medium= ~3" $5.00, Large= ~4" $6.00
It's a little hard to tell in the picture, but this is a light pink bow stacked on a larger brown bow.

Medium $5.50, Large $6.50

A brighter, yet light pink bow.

Medium $5.00, Large $6.00
I really made the pink one above for one of her smaller bows that is almost too little on her now unless it's being used to sweep her bangs back. You just clip the smaller bow through the knot of the larger bow for a different look!!

More Pillowcases

Here are a few more of the pillowcases I have made!

You can't see it the best since I didn't realize it was folded over when I took the picture, but this one has "Happy Fall" embroidered on it.

A cute boy's John Deere print.
A cute girl's John Deere print. This goes well with a blanket grandma Linda bought Ciara as a baby shower gift.
There are more to come when time allows, but they're for Christmas and I have hair bows to make that are taking priority right now.

Also, see the post below, because it never did update on anyone's blog page!

Embroidery as a Gift...

Embroidery makes GREAT GIFTS!! Here are some recent gifts I've made.

A bib and burp rag set for a friend.
Matching set $15

Finally, a gift for me!
Embroidery on a shirt...$8
(plus cost of shirt, or you provide shirt)
Upclose of the above
Bib, burp rag, receiving blanket...email or call me for pricing, as it will depend on the complexity of the designs.

New Projects...As promised!

A couple of new projects I've been working on:

Taggie blankets... Approximate size, not including ribbon is 10" x 10"...$10
I can make other sizes upon request.
These are made of printed flannel on one side and solid minky fabric on the opposite side. I could also embroider a name or monogram on them, but was in a hurry to get one together to see what it would look like.
Add $5 for personalization.
Travel pillow cases are another project I've been working on. I came up with this idea after having trouble finding a suitable small pillow for Ciara.

Travel pillow case...$10
(could be more depending on fabric requested).
Approximate size is 12" x 18".
Add $3 if you want me to purchase the pillow.
I could also embroider a name on the solid fabric for an additional $5. Or make regular size pillow cases upon request...Matt wants me to make him one out of John Deere fabric and embroider his name on it....I'm not joking!

I also had a request on Friday to embroider on a sock hat. I really didn't think this was going to work out well since they are so strechy, but it turned out great!

Name only on sock hat...$5 (you provide hat...$1 for this hat at Target).
It really isn't discolored, I was just in a hurry to take the picture and the, bill, for lack of better terms, wasn't quite dry from dissolving the solvy I use to keep the lettering on top of the fabric.

Big Bows are here!!

After having a request the week before last for some bigger bows, I've had lots of requests!

If I DON'T HAVE THE COLOR YOU WANT, I WILL GET IT!

When I say "Big Bow", I am referring to a bow that measures approximately 4" across!

Here are SOME of the bows I made this weekend!

Big bows are $6 ea. for one color and 50c for ea. additional color.
I don't charge extra if the additional color is the knot.
Really elaborate bows may be extra.
I really like this one! $6
Beautiful Fall bow. $6.50
(Again, no add'l charge for knot being different color)
Star bow $6
