New project photos as promised!

Here is Ciara's newest pillow! Great for Easter, yet it doesn't scream Easter, so I chose the wording "Happy Spring" and plan to use it for another 6 weeks or so.

Pillow case $10
w/ embroidery $15
w/ pillow $18
This is the first burp rag I've done with ribbon and it turned out great! It also has a strip of ribbon on the back at the bottom.

Embroidery only $8
w/ ribbon $9
For this, the request was for ribbon that was hot pink with black polka dots or vice versa. I had trouble finding 1 1/2" ribbon, so I got creative and used 7/8" and made 2 strips then added the little black ribbon to dress it up more. I LOVE THIS ONE!!!!

Embroidery only $8
w/ ribbon $9 (add'l small bows 50c ea.)
I also made a made a bib to match this (no ribbon)
If you know me very well, you know I'm always looking for a bargain! I found this little long-sleeved t-sirt at Target a few weeks ago for 75c!! I then made it an Easter shirt for Ciara. She has jeans with little flowers all over the front (sorry, didn't think to take a picture of them). Sorry it's wrinkly, she had it on all evening, then I took a picture of it after she was in bed for the night.

Embroidered shirt $8

Christmas ideas!

Matt's sister gave me the idea of doing a potholder set. It's hard to find potholders that don't have a pocket on them though, so I am pretty limited on colors.

I gave these to Michelle for watching Ciara this past weekend while Matt and I were at a convention. They look great with her black and tan granite counter tops!

Price dependent on cost of potholder and towel, as well as number of pieces.
I know it's hard to tell what this is in the picture...

Ponytail holder $4.00
Ponytail streamers $3.00

I am also working on some pillow cases, among other projects, so be sure to check back often!

Christmas is in the air you know!

More Pillowcases

Here are a few more of the pillowcases I have made!

You can't see it the best since I didn't realize it was folded over when I took the picture, but this one has "Happy Fall" embroidered on it.

A cute boy's John Deere print.
A cute girl's John Deere print. This goes well with a blanket grandma Linda bought Ciara as a baby shower gift.
There are more to come when time allows, but they're for Christmas and I have hair bows to make that are taking priority right now.

Also, see the post below, because it never did update on anyone's blog page!

Embroidery as a Gift...

Embroidery makes GREAT GIFTS!! Here are some recent gifts I've made.

A bib and burp rag set for a friend.
Matching set $15

Finally, a gift for me!
Embroidery on a shirt...$8
(plus cost of shirt, or you provide shirt)
Upclose of the above
Bib, burp rag, receiving blanket...email or call me for pricing, as it will depend on the complexity of the designs.

New Projects...As promised!

A couple of new projects I've been working on:

Taggie blankets... Approximate size, not including ribbon is 10" x 10"...$10
I can make other sizes upon request.
These are made of printed flannel on one side and solid minky fabric on the opposite side. I could also embroider a name or monogram on them, but was in a hurry to get one together to see what it would look like.
Add $5 for personalization.
Travel pillow cases are another project I've been working on. I came up with this idea after having trouble finding a suitable small pillow for Ciara.

Travel pillow case...$10
(could be more depending on fabric requested).
Approximate size is 12" x 18".
Add $3 if you want me to purchase the pillow.
I could also embroider a name on the solid fabric for an additional $5. Or make regular size pillow cases upon request...Matt wants me to make him one out of John Deere fabric and embroider his name on it....I'm not joking!

I also had a request on Friday to embroider on a sock hat. I really didn't think this was going to work out well since they are so strechy, but it turned out great!

Name only on sock hat...$5 (you provide hat...$1 for this hat at Target).
It really isn't discolored, I was just in a hurry to take the picture and the, bill, for lack of better terms, wasn't quite dry from dissolving the solvy I use to keep the lettering on top of the fabric.

Recent projects

I know I haven't posted on here in a while. Mainly because I've pretty busy and haven't done a lot to post.

I embroidered this sippy cup for our friend's daughter for her 1st birthday. Sorry, it's a little hard to see in the picture since her name is fairly long.

Mongrammed sippy cup $13
Two-toned Botique bow $5
I was also asked to embroider the chair back for the Senior Showmanship award at the Posey County Fair. I was asked how much I would charge, but after all the things 4-h gave me throughout my 10 years, I couldn't find it in my heart to charge them.

Here it is upclose.
Here's the Director's Chair with the back I embroidered.

Beach Towels

These beach towels were made as a thank-you gift for a friend's kids since they allowed us to borrow their Bumbo seat for Ciara for several months. They are fun and allow you to easily identify your child's towel from another.

$8 plus cost of towel
Notice...I was able to match the font to that of "Mermaid Princess" imprinted on the towel.

Monogrammed Towels...

...make GREAT gifts!

Here are a few of the towels I have done lately for Wedding presents and graduation gifts. I've had to hold off on posting them until the gift has been given! I did another pretty cool one too, but neglected to take a picture.
Set of 3 hand towels.
2 bath towels
2 sets of bath and hand towels

It's hard for me to list pricing on these because it somewhat depends on how many thousand stitches there are. So, please inquire with your interest and we can discuss prices.

Go Boilers!

This is one of the hardest designs I've done, but now that I have it figured out, it's not so bad! The train was in reds, blues & greens, but I changed it up to fit my needs! Keep in mind...just because you see a design in certain colors doesn't mean that's how it has to be!
Bib $8
